The Fairchild House

 

Designated as a Kentucky Landmark in 1984 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Fairchild House is a low Queen Anne Victorian house designed by the architectural firm of Barber and Kluttz (George F. Barber) of Knoxville, Tenn. for W. F. Fairchild. A local businessman and banker, he moved his family into this Monticello, Kentucky house in Sept. 1906. The house is located minutes from Lake Cumberland.

(including breakfast, all fees and taxes).

The Fairchild House has three bedrooms, named for the granddaughters of W. F. Fairchild, Grace's Room (below) has a ful-sized bed and a private bath. For more information about the other rooms, see the Pictures section.
